Plumas Charter School, through partnership with Plumas Unified School District, will be implementing a new option available to schools participating in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs called the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for 2019-2020 school year.

What does this mean for PCS students? Great news!

All enrolled students of Plumas Charter School are eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at school at no charge to households each day of the 2019-2020 school year. No further action is required of families. Children will be able to participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee or submit an application. Breakfast and lunch counts will be performed each day.

For more information on the CEP program, please contact Amber Russell, the PUSD food service program manager, at (530) 283-6500, ext. 5835.

Note to families: The current menu is posted at all our learning centers. It is also sent to families via email and paper copy. Please review the menu with your child(ren); if they don't like what is being served on a particular day, please have them bring a meal from home that day. Thank you for helping us avoid food waste!
