The host of the Nov. 8 Quincy Community Supper was Plumas Charter School, with assistance from some Feather River College students. The free supper is held at the Community United Methodist Church at 282 Jackson St.
On the menu was spaghetti, garlic bread, and a vegetable garden salad. Dessert was a variety of cookies. Kenny Davis shared his talent on the piano with the crowd.
The next community suppers will be held starting at 6 p.m. Nov. 22, Dec. 13, and Dec. 27, the second and fourth Wednesdays. As has been the case since the community suppers began in September 2002, there is no charge for this meal. Questions regarding the supper may be directed to Angela Elliott at (530) 283-1478.
