Plumas Charter School has announced that it is currently seeking substitute teachers for grades TK-12. PCS is a nonprofit public school accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

Substitute teachers must have a bachelor’s degree, pass the California basic educational skills test (CBEST), have or be willing to obtain a 30-day emergency substitute credential, and be fingerprinted through the sheriff’s office.

Compensation is $20 per hour, and work may be available at the PCS learning centers in Quincy, Indian Valley, and Chester.
